1. Purpose and Responsibility

This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data (including collection, use, and obtaining consent) within our online offering and the associated websites, functions, and content (hereinafter referred to as the "Online Offering" or "Website"). 2. General Information on Data Processing

Users' personal data is processed only in compliance with applicable data protection regulations and in accordance with the principles of data minimization and avoidance. This means data is only collected if there is a legal basis, particularly if the data is necessary for fulfilling our contractual obligations, required by law, or if consent has been given.

If content, tools, or other services from third parties (hereinafter referred to as "Third-Party Providers") are used and their headquarters are located abroad, data may be transferred to those countries. Each time our server is accessed, so-called server log files are generated. These include:

The log data is used without personal reference for statistical analysis and to optimize our Online Offering. If unlawful use is suspected, we reserve the right to review the data retrospectively.

 

5. Cookies and Reach Measurement

Cookies are small files sent by the web server to the User’s browser and stored there. They are used for pseudonymous reach measurement.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Ltd. ("Google"). Google uses cookies to collect usage data and transmit it to servers in the USA. Users’ IP addresses are anonymized to prevent personal identification.

7. Google Marketing and Remarketing Services

We use Google Marketing Services to display targeted ads. Pseudonymous user profiles are created to show ads based on Users’ interests.

8. Newsletter

Our newsletter provides updates on products, offers, and promotions. Registration follows a double opt-in process, and data is used to evaluate and optimize the newsletter.

Users can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the end of each newsletter.

At the time of linking, the external pages were checked for possible legal violations. No unlawful content was identifiable at that time. However, continuous monitoring of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a legal infringement. If we become aware of any violations, we will remove such links immediately.
